Logo

A clearcut horizontal logo of around 1000x200 px works best. Square or portrait logos don’t work as well as vertical space on devices is often limited. eg. in an App navigation bar.

Icon

An App Icon needs to be a PNG 1024x1024px with no alpha channel.

  • Clear and bold design.
  • Preferably no text, but might be hard to avoid.
  • Do not round the corners, this is done automatically.

Here is the Apple documentation on good Icon design.

Colours

Colours are template dependent, but there’s a couple which are shared between all templates and are also used on the website.

Colours needs to be provided as a 6 character hex string ie. #0000ff for blue or #ffffff for white.

  1. Primary Brand Colour
  2. Secondary Brand Colour
  3. Background Colour
  4. Navigation Bar Colour
  5. Text Colour

Fonts

Some templates can use custom fonts. Fonts needs to be either TTF or OTF to work across all platforms.

Note: you need to check that you have a license to distribute your fonts. The license for Apps is different than a print or web license. Some fonts cost USD 5000 per platform eg. 3x for iOS, Android and Web. If in doubt, don’t change the font or use a Google Font
