Connect your POS
- Install our POS middleware
- Enter the IP and Port into the Appropo POS Settings
- Enable POS sales import

Create Accounts
Setup accounts for Food and Beverage Sales, Discounts, Tips, Gift Cards/Vouchers, and Payments. This lets you track sales, reconcile bank payouts with payments, and track gift card liability.
The goal is to record your sales in Xero and make reconciling your bank payouts easy.

Create a Contact
Invoices need to be created against a contact. You can create a dummy contact for this purpose, e.g. "POS Export" or "POS System Name".
Connect to Xero
- In the Appropo Settings, find the Xero Integration
- Connect to Xero
- Select your Xero Organisation
- Select your Xero Contact
Configure Account Mapping
Configure the account mapping to match the Accounts in Xero.
